AscentofTim Tim Kahl is the author of Possessing Yourself (Word Tech, 2009) and The Century of Travel (Word Tech, forthcoming). He has translated German poet Rolf Haufs, Austrian avant-gardist, Friederike Mayröcker; Brazilian poets, Lêdo Ivo, Marly de Oliveira, Carlos Drummond de Andrade and others, and the poems of José Saramago. He is the events coordinator at The Sacramento Poetry Center. Originally, he was a researcher in a molecular biology lab at The Howard Hughes Medical Institute at The University of Michigan, but now he appears as Victor Schnickelfritz at the poetry and poetics blog The Great American Pinup and poetry and video blog Linebreak Studios.

Joshua McKinney is is the author of Saunter (University of Georgia Press, 2002), The Novice Mourner (Bear Star Press, 2005) and Mad Cursive (Wordcraft of Oregon, 2012), as well as two poetry chapbooks: Saunter (Primitive Publications, 1998) and Permutations of the Gallery (Pavement Saw Press, 1996). His work has appeared widely in such journals as American Letters & Commentary, Boulevard, Colorado Review, Denver Quarterly, Kenyon Review, New American Writing, VOLT, and many others. Other awards include The Dickinson Poetry Prize and a Gertrude Stein Award for Innovative American Poetry. He teaches poetry writing and literature at California State University, Sacramento.
